1. Navigation ON/OFF

Navigation ON: For those of you that like to see all your
navigation options all the time, simply make sure that the grey NAV ON button
(top right corner of the page) is on. The global navigation will stay visible
regardless of the page you are on. This allows for quick and easy access to
virtually any page on our site.
 |
Navigation OFF: If you click to select the blue NAV OFF
button, the global navigation icons and section titles will remain, but the
sub-navigation pages are hidden from view. To see the sub-navigation, simply
rollover the section and make your selection.

2. Global Search
|
Our Global Search is an extremely powerful tool. Located on the top right
corner of every page, you have several search options:

KEYWORD box lets you enter a keyword such as a product name or a partial
product description.

PART # box lets you enter a part number or partial part number.

Select either ( ) Electronics or ( ) Fasteners if you want your search to start
directly within either product group.

The Advanced Search page gives you several unique and time-saving options for
refining your search and keeping the results relevant to you! You also have
several sort options so you can format the results the way you would like.
Plus, you can now save your favourite searches by name or number to make
searching Irwin even faster next time!

Need to send us a Quote or Sample Request quickly? No problem - you can link to
our Requests section and access the forms you need right from the results
table!

3. Products Section

Our product section allows you to browse through our two main product lines
(Electronics and Fasteners)

Our new product section allows easy access to the latest products in the
marketplace.

Within the product section, you can browse through both our Electronics and
Fasteners products using our simplified user interface. The first page lets you
select by category and associated sub categories, while the second page lets
you see series and parts.

Our unique dynamic breadcrumb navigation shows you exactly where you are in
your selection pathing at any given time

4. Supplier Profiles

Each of our valued Suppliers has a unique Supplier profile page so you can
browse for parts only from that supplier. Our innovative visual search
simplifies the process of browsing ‘up and down’ that Supplier’s product
categories.

Our revised Featured Suppliers and Case Studies sections put our latest
Supplier-supported product specifications and PDF’s right at your fingertips!

5. Request Forms
 |
Once you have decided what product you are interested in, you can Request
Quotes, Samples, or Catalogs. These Request Forms are located in the Requests
Section, but we have also integrated them throughout the site with a
’Pre-populated’ form feature to make it quicker and easier for you to complete
your request.

For example, from a Product Page or Search Results Table, you have the option
to launch a request form which will contain all that part’s information
pre-populated.
