Introducing Heyco’s new Skinned-Over Thermoplastic Rubber Grommets (STRG), designed to ensure a secure seal for unused holes with an IP 68 rated seal. It can also be pierced to accommodate single or multiple cable pass-through, requiring a starter hole for effortless cable insertion. Multiple holes can be created with a starter hole that is 50% of the cable diameter achieving an IPX5 rated seal around those cables.

Once pierced, the plug no longer meets liquid-tight IP68 standards but effectively blocks airflow and prevents particulate pass-through. This UL-pending plug is constructed from TPE material with a hardness of 80 Shore A (70 Shore A on STRG 500).

Mounting Hole Diameter Range: 0.500˝ (12,7 mm) to 1.500˝ (38,1 mm).
