Patented die & linear control in a compact package

American Bright's EzyLED™s are directly driven by wide-range AC and/or DC power sources while maintaining light output and colour temperature in both lighting and indication. The patented LED chip array is powered and protected by a proprietary linear IC which eliminates the requirement for external resistors, bridge rectifiers and current-regulating diodes while protecting the module from overheating through pulse-width modulation. Fewer components simply product design, reduce inventory and labour costs while increasing density, reliability and product life.

Ultra-low power with high visibility

Memory-in-pixel technology reduces LCD power consumption, while providing superior visibility even outdoors, and excellent image quality.

With a randomly accessed stored bit per pixel cell structure, each is addressed individually, refreshing only those pixels which need to be changed thereby reducing power requirements.

The extremely low power LCD cell structure design makes these displays excellent candidates for battery powered applications, such as wearable medical devices, wearable sports gear, Internet-of-Things products and other portable applications.

The KYOCERA MIP technology provides:

SunLED provides a new solution to dome lens LED applications offering more flexibility in the design industry. The new series measures in at 1.8mm x 0.6mm x 1.5mm. The industry-leading option of focused intensity in a 25° degree viewing angle provides brighter illumination in the desired region, achieving up to 15 times increased intensity over traditional right-angle LEDs.

The narrower viewing angle eliminates light bleeding to further increase design appeal. This series is especially suited for light pipe applications due to a lower angle of incidence. Light rays can be reflected more efficiently, and a brighter illuminated region results in stronger backlight and a more defined user interface. A full color spectrum is available for a wide range of applications.
